Exciting times are ahead for Golborne Cricket Club. Founded in 1959 the club will be playing the 2017 season in the Bolton Cricket League.

The club has a thriving junior section with teams at U11, 13, 15 and U18 level playing 2017 in the Wigan Junior League. With a lot of hard work and effort from all volunteers, the club has been re-accredited with 'Clubmark" status in 2015 and is recognised by the ECB as one of its "Focus" clubs.

The club had great success in 2016 at junior level, with the U10s being crowned league champions.
The 2017 season will bring new challenges for the club, and will need a big effort from all to succeed.

We would be interested to hear from anyone who wishes to join this friendly club.
